SPMMMV's fundraising campaign now stands at more than $305,000 representing foundation grants, individual contributions and sales of souvenir posters, catalogs and other memorabilia. This combined in-ome has enabled the full restoration of the first six of the 22 murals.

SPMMMV thanks The Fine Foundation for its recent gift of $10,000 and an increased number of individual contributors choosing the preservation of the murals in October on the PittsburghGives Day of Giving. A special thank you for those anonymous small cash contributions made by visitors to the murals totaling nearly $13,000. Thousands have visited from across the United States, and various countries in Europe, Asia and South America.

The next phase of the project will involve restoration of the remaining 16 murals and design and installation of state-of-the-art museum-quality lighting for the ceiling and high side walls.
